In 1851, Henry Hodge (17) of Gunwalloe, unmarried, was working as a farm servant for Samuel Hendy in Chepie, Gunwalloe.

In 1871, Henry Hodge (37) of Gunwalloe, ag. lab., and wife Susan (44) of Sithney, were living in Nantithet, Cury. Present were children (born in Cury): Mary Jane (10), scholar, Harriet Ann (8), scholar, Edward (6), scholar, John (3)

In 1881, Henry Hodge (48) of Gunwalloe, ag lab., and wife Susan (53) of Sithney, were living in Millpool Cottage, Cury. Present were children (born in Cury): Hariet Ann (10), unemployed domestic servant, John (13), granddaughter Mary Hodge (3m) of Cury

In 1891, Henry Hodge (59) of Gunwalloe, farm labourer, and wife Susan (65) of Sithney, were living in Chyanvounder, Gunwalloe. With them were granddaughters Bessie Hodge (10), scholar, Ethel (7), scholar, both born in Cury.

   Marriage Information:

Henry married Susan PASCOE, daughter of William PASCOE and Susanna READ, in 1859 in Helston District, Cornwall. (Susan PASCOE was born in 1826 in Sithney, Cornwall, christened on 23 Nov 1826 in Sithney, Cornwall and was buried on 10 Oct 1894 in Gunwalloe, Cornwall.)
