In 1911 Alfred Tremelling, aged 46, born in Hayle, rock driller maker, and wife of 20 years Edith Tremelling, aged 42, born in Hayle (mother of 6 children, 5 deceased), were living at 59 Pendarves Street, Tuckingmill, Camborne. With them was son John Howard Tremelling (7) of Tuckingmill.
In 1921 Alfred Tremelling, aged 56 years 3 months, born in Hayle, foreman machine shop at Climax Rock Drill & Engineering Co Ltd Carn Brea, and wife Edith Tremelling, aged 52 years 8 months, born in Hayle, were living in Maynes Row, Tuckingmill, Camborne. With them were sons (born in Tuckingmill) John Howard (17y 11m), fitter & turner's apprentice, and Horace Stanley (8y 9m).

LATE MR. ALFRED TREMELLING.
INTERMENT AT TUCKINGMILL.
The funeral of the late Mr. Alfred Tremeling, took place at Tuckingmill on Saturday afternoon. The deceased was foreman at the Climax Engineering Works for many years, and was well known and highly respected. Rev. F. Metcalfe officiated, and Mr. J. H. Cock was at the organ.... The mourners were: Mrs. E. Tremelling (widow), Messrs. Jack and Horace Tremelling (sons), Mr. and Mrs. T. Tremelling (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. T. Love and Mrs. Richards (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. B. Penberthy and Mrs. N. Easterbrook (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. N. Easterbrook and Mrs. B. Penberthy (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. J. Richards and Mrs. T. Love (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. D. Penberthy (nephew), Mr. A. Lampshire (friend)....
.... The coffin was of unpolished panelled oak, with solid brass fittings, and on the plate was inscribed: "Alfred Tremelling, who died Feb. 11th, 1924, aged 58 years."
