Research Notes:
In her father's Will, written 1574, Prudence was bequeathed the profits of his farmlands in Lincolnshire on reaching the age of twenty-one years.
In the 1580 Will of her maternal grandmother Jane Skynner of London, widow, Prudence Wheatley was bequeathed a jewell in which there is a picture of Christ on an agate.
In her mother's Will, written 1599, Prudence Fortescue and her children were bequeathed £200.
Marriage Information:
Prudence married Nicholas Fortescue of Cookhill, son of William Fortescue of Cookhill, Knt., and Ursula Newport. (Nicholas Fortescue was born est 1575, died on 2 Nov 1633 in Fetter Lane, London, England and was buried in Cookhill, Worcestershire, England.)
