In 1648 Martha Lewis was the residuary legatee of her husband's Will, of which Martha's brother, Edmund Fortescue, was co-executor.
Nicholas Lewys left £400 to their daughter Martha (b. 1632) which he received of the executor of Sir Nicholas Fortescue his father-in-law.
As Martha is not named in the Will of her brother Edmund Fortescue (written 1673), she presumably died before then.

Martha married Nicholas Lewis, Esq., son of Edward Lewis of the Vanne in Glamorganshire, Wales. (Nicholas Lewis died between 9 Aug 1645 and 14 Jun 1648 in Worcester, England.)
