John "Eric" CASIMIR of Strathfield

Great uncle Eric lived for most of his life in the family home in Strathfield. I remember the dining room was out-of-bounds, and was fully set for dinner (amidst the dust and cobwebs of decades). Eric was responsible for promulgating the story about the Casimirs' descent from the Polish King Casimir IV (of the House of JAGIELLO). There was no substance to this story, and it is not certain who invented it.
In the Australian Electoral Rolls (1903-1954), from 1930 onward, John Eric Casimir was living in Woodward Ave., Strathfield, his occupation dynamo attendant.
