In 1851 Grace Stodden, aged 27, born in Sithney Cornwall, unmarried, general servant, and widowed mother Eleanor Stodden, were visiting Anabella Cockburn, school mistress, in Wood Lane Terrace, Falmouth Cornwall.

In 1861 Grace Thomas, aged 37, born in Sithney Cornwall, married, husband not home, was living in Porthleven Sithney. With her were daughters (born in Sithney) Grace (3), scholar, Elen (1) and Elizabeth (2m).

In 1871 Grace Thomas, aged 47, born in Sithney Cornwall, and husband Joseph Thomas, aged 49, born in Sithney, fisherman, were living in Porthleven, Sithney. With them were daughters (born in Sithney) Grace (13), scholar, and Ellen (11), scholar.
