In 1822 Eleanor the wife of Thomas Stodden was named as a beneficiary and co-executor of her mother's will, receiving £20, a bedstead and her mother's leasehold dwelling place in Porthleven for the term of her life, after which the tenement passes to Eleanor's son, John Stodden (who died young).
In 1841 Eleanor Stodden, aged about 55, born in the county, and husband Thomas Stodden, aged about 55, born in the county, fisherman, were living in Porthleven by Sithney Cornwall. With them were daughters Grace (15) and Elizth. (10).
In 1851 Eleanor Stodden, aged 65, born in Sithney Cornwall, widow, householder, and daughter Grace (27) of Sithney, unmarried, general servant, were visiting Anabella Cockburn, school mistress, in Wood Lane Terrace, Falmouth Cornwall.
