"PIONEER RESIDENT PASSED YESTERDAY

Frank Vivian Died at His Home After Week's Illness

Frank Vivian, one of Ishpeming's pioneer residents, passed away yesterday morning at his home, 414 Cleveland avenue, after a week's illness.
Mr. Vivian was seventy-four years of age, and had been a resident of Ishpeming during the past thirty-eight years. He came to this country when he was a young man, and settled in the copper country where he was employed in the mines for several years. Previous to coming here, he worked in Eagle Harbor. He is well known among the older residents of the city.
Mr. Vivian started the dray line business, now being carried on by his sons, over thirty-two years ago. He was an active and energetic worker and put his business on a successful basis several years before he retired. He was a member of the city police force a number of years ago.
The deceased is survived by his widow, four sons, George, James, William and Richard, of this city, and one daughter Mrs. Henry King, of Laurium. He had one sister, Mrs. [...] Polkinghorn, who resides in [...] Minn. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending the arrival of relatives and friends, a number of whom are expected to attend from the copper country."

"The funeral of the late Frank Vivian, whose death occurred Sunday morning, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house, 414 Cleveland avenue. The Rev. R. T.
