In 1841 Jane Paynter Curgenven was a beneficiary of the will of her grandfather William Paynter of Perleese, who left her £10.

In 1851 Jane Hawke, aged 33, born in St. Kew Cornwall, and husband Nicholas Hawke, aged 35, born in St. Kew, farmer of 300 acres [employing] 2 labourers, were living in Trewane [Trewen], St. Kew.
