With them were children Hannah (4), Richard (3), Johnson (2), and James (3 months). Living nextdoor was James Bennetts (30) and his family, possibly elder brother of Samuel.
In 1851 Hannah Bennetts, aged 36, born in Camborne, copper miner's wife, and husband Samuel Bennetts, aged 38, born in Crowan Cornwall, copper miner, were in Ramsgate, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Camborne): Hannah (14), Richd. (12), work to mine, Johnson (11), scholar, Elizth. (8), scholar, Nanny (5), James (3), and Samuel (1).
In 1861 Hannah Bennetts, aged 47, born in Camborne, and husband Samuel Bennetts, aged 48, born in Crowan, copper miner, were in Trevabyn Lane, Perranuthnoe, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Camborne): Johnson V. (21), mine engine driver, Elizabeth V. (18), domestic asst., Nanny V. (15), domestic asst., James (13), works at copper mine, Samuel (11), works at copper mine, John V. (9), at school, and Henry V. (7), at school.
In 1871 Hannah Bennetts, aged 57, born in Camborne, miner's widow, was living in Moor Lane, Goldsithney, Perranuthnoe. With her were children Nanny V. (25), house work, James (23), miner, Samuel (21), miner, Henry V. (17), miner, grandson John G. (7)*, scholar, all born in Camborne.

In 1891 Hannah Bennetts, aged 76, born in Camborne, widow, dressmaker, was in North Road, Goldsithney, Perranuthnoe.

FUNERAL OF MRS. BENNETTS, OF NORTH - ROAD, GOLDSITHNEY.
The funeral of Mrs. H. Bennetts, of North-road, Goldsithney, widow of the late Mr. Samuel Bennetts, who died 36 years ago, took place on Friday at Perranuthnoe. The weather was very unpropitious, but nevertheless there was a good number present. Deceased, who was 84 last April, had been ill for some time, and was a consistent member of the Wesleyan cause for many years.
Mrs. Bennetts is the daughter of the late Johnson Vivian, of Vellansandry, Camborne, and was also a sister to the late Captain John Vivian, who died in America last April, and who was aged 95.
The mournful procession left the house at 3 o'clock, and slowly wended its way to Perran. It was intended to have some singing, but the tempestuous weather prevented a large number from being present. The rector, the Rev. Richard Astley, officiated very impressively. A wreath was sent "In loving memory of dear mother," from the family.
The chief mourners were Mr. Henry Bennetts, Falmouth (son) Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. N. Roberts; Mrs. Bennetts, Penzance, and Mrs. Taylor, Marazion (grandson) Mr. T. Bennetts and Miss Mabel Bennetts (grandchildren), Mr. Fred Taylor and Miss Bennetts (Penzance), Mr. John Bennetts (Falmouth) Mr. Albert Roberts and Miss Fanny Roberts (grandchildren) and Mr. John Bennetts and Mrs. Bennetts (Camborne)....
The coffin was covered in black cloth, and the breastplate bore the inscription:—
"HANNAH BENNETTS,
Died January 11th, 1899,
Aged 84 years."
Mr. Edwin Sandry, of Goldsithney, satisfactorily carried out the funeral arrangements.
