In 1881 William H. Rowe, aged 26, born in Old Climo, Stoke Climsland, Cornwall, single, assistant paymaster in the R.N. aboard the vessel Minotaux, anchored off Gilbraltar.

In 1891 William Rowe, aged 36, born in Stoke Climsland Cornwall, married, [paymaster] R.N., was visiting Royal Hotel in Fore Street, Stoke Damerel, Devon.

During the first quarter of 1891 William Hawkins Rowe married to either Margaret Frances Bond or Ann Clark in the Plymouth district, Devon.

In 1901 William H. Rowe, aged 46, born in Stoke Climsland, married, secretary was aboard the R.N. vessel Majestic, anchored off Gilbraltar.
