In 1851 Laura Evans (9) of Maentwrog was with her parents in the village of Gwynfryn in Llanbedr Merioneth.

In 1861 Laura Evans (17) of Maentwrog was visiting John and Jane Williams, farmers in Llandanwg Merioneth.

In 1871 Laura Williams (30) of Maentwrog and husband Robert Williams (32) of Llandanwg, labourer, were living in Llechwedd, Llandanwg.

In 1881 Laura Williams (38) of Llanfair [sic] and husband Robert Williams (40) of Llanfair [sic], labourer, were living in Llechwedd, Llandanwg. Present were children (born in Llandanwg): David (7), Margaret (5), Evan (9m).

In 1891 Laura Williams (50) of Maentwrog and husband Robert Williams (52) of Harlech, steel ore miner, were living at 2 Penuchadref in Llandanwg. Present were son Evan (10) of Harlech, scholar, and Robert's mother Gwen Williams (88) of Harlech, pauper.

In 1901 Laura Williams (59) of Maentwrog and husband Robert Williams (63) of Llandanwg, farmer's labourer, were living in Penuchadref in Llandanwg. With them was daughter Margret G. Wlliams (23) of Llandanwg.
