"Short Illness Fatal to Mrs. Emma Vivian.
ISHPEMING, Nov. 2Mrs. Emma Vivian, 67, widow of William Vivian, died at her home, 769 Michigan street, at 7:25 last night after a short illness.
Mrs. Vivian was born and raised in Ishpeming and was the daughter of the late John Scott, Civil war veteran.
She leaves five sons, Ray and Kenneth, of Ishpeming; Roland and Robert of Muskegon Heights, and William of Detroit; four daughters, Mrs. Norman Trombley of Muskegon Heights; Mrs. Conrad Knutson, of Duluth, and Mrs. Jack Morgan and Mrs. James Dailey, of Detroit; a brother, George Scott, of Ishpeming; a sister, Mrs. Maude Doume, of Long Beach, Calif., 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held in the home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with the Rev. M. E. Crawford, of the Salisbury Methodist church, officiating. Internment will be made in Ishpeming cemetery." 5
