On 22 May 1867 John Parry Morgan was granted Letters of Administration of his father's personal estate and effects.

In 1871 John Parry Morgan (28) of Carnarvon, Vicar of Llanasa, unmarried, was living in Vicarage House, Llanasa Kelston, Flintshire.

In 1881 John P. Morgan (38) of Carnarvon, Vicar of Llanasa, and wife Eleanor L. (32) of Clifton Gloucestershire, were living in Llanasa Vicarage, Llanasa, Flintshire. Present were children (born in Llanasa): Mary M. G. (8), scholar, Eleanor G. M. (6), scholar, John G. P. (5), Francis A. S. (3), Humphrey S. S. (1), Laura F. (3 m)
