In 1841 John P Morgan, aged about 30, Clerk, was living in Love lane or terrace Llanbeblig Caernarvonshire.

In 1851 John Parry Morgan (45) of Newcastle Carm., widower, clergyman, was visiting Martha Owens, innkeeper of the Pengwern Arms in Festiniog. Lodging there were his children: Jane Parry* (7) of Festiniog, John Parry (8) of Carnarvon, William Christmas (6) of Festiniog, Edwin Price (5) of Festiniog, Letica (4) of Festiniog.

In 1861 John P. Morgan (53) of Newcastle Carmarthenshire, wid., Vicar of Llanidloes, was living in Cripplegate, Llanidloes, Montgomeryshire. Present were children (born in St. Davids, Festiniog, Merioneth): Jane P. (17), William C. (16), Edmund P. (14), Thomas R. (12).

Letters of Administration of the personal estate and effects of the Reverend John Parry Morgan late of the Vicarage House in the Parish of Llanidloes in the County of Montgomery, Clerk, a widower, who died 12 April 1867 at the Vicarage House aforesaid were granted 22 May at Shrewsbury to the Reverend John Parry Morgan of the Parish of Holywell in the County of Flint, Clerk, the son and one of the next of kin of the said deceased, he having been first sworn. Effects under £800. 4
