"Mrs. M. G. Hall, of Largs Bay. has been notified that her husband, Pte. Maxwell G. Hall, died of illness at a military hospital on Tuesday. Enlisting in June, 1940, he served throughout the Middle East and New Guinea campaigns. He was a son of Mrs. E. A. Hall, of Penola, and father of Maxine, aged 2½. An elder brother, Arthur, was killed in action last year, and a younger brother, George, is serving in the RAAF. Before enlisting, Pte. Hall was employed at General Motors-Holden's Ltd." 3
