In 1881 Henry T. Carah, aged 21, born in Camborne Cornwall, copper miner, was with his parents at 23 Moor St., Camborne.

WE are pleased to record successes made of late by natives of the Camborne district. From Nevada we hear that Mr. Henry Carah, son of Mr. William Carah, of Moor-street, Camborne, now represents that State as its legislator in the U.S. House-of-representatives. Mr. Carah, jun., has an excellent parentage : his beloved father, surviving his good wife for many years, enjoys the heartiest good wishes of thousands in Camborne. With him they would rejoice to congratulate their young townsman when he pays a visit to his native town.
