In 1851 William Carah, aged 28, born in Camborne Cornwall, copper miner, and wife Elizabeth Carah, aged 25, born in Illogan Cornwall, were living in Tolcarne St., Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) Emily J. (2) and William J. (1).
In 1861 William Carah, aged 36, born in Camborne, copper miner, and wife Elizabeth Carah, aged 35, born in Camborne [sic], were living in Moor St., Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) William (8), scholar, Alfred (6), Eliz. Ellen (4), and Henry (2).
