In 1851 John Tippett, aged 47, born in Blenarvon Monmouth., whole sale cheesemonger, and wife Louisa Tippett, aged 48, born in Bristol Gloucs., were living at Harrow Cottage, Lambeth, Surrey. With them was sister-in-law Matilda Price (35) of Bristol, unmarried, daily governess.
In 1861 John Tippett, aged 57, born in Blenarvon, provision merchant, and wife Louisa Tippett, aged 58, born in Bristol, were at 34 Lorn Road, Lambeth. With them were daughter Louisa A. (34) of Fishponds Gloucestershire, unmarried, and mother-in-law Ann Price (84) of Devises Wilts, commercial traveller's widow.
