  Research Notes:

In 1841 John Rowe, aged about 60, publican, and wife Mary, aged about 60, were living in Treswithian, Camborne. Present were children Hannibal (30), farmer, and Threaza [Theresa] (15).

In 1851 John Rowe, aged 73, born in Camborne Cornwall, retired inn keeper, and wife Mary, aged 76, born in Camborne, were living in Treswithian, Camborne. Present was daughter Thurza [Theresa] (28) of Camborne, unmarried.

On Tuesday the 21st inst., Mr. John Rowe, late innkeeper at the Cornish Daws, aged 77 years.

Abstract of the Will of John Rowe of the Parish of Camborne in the County of Cornwall, Innkeeper, written 13 Nov 1852, proved 14 Jun 1855. 2

Gives to his wife Mary the use, interest, rents and profits of his property during her lifetime.

After the death of his wife he gives £20 to his daughter Mary Blewett.

Gives £20 each to his children John Rowe, William Rowe and Lavinia Rabling.

Gives an annuity of £3 to his daughter Caroline Bennetts, to be raised out of the rental of his public house.

Gives an annuity of £7 to his daughter Thereza Rowe, to be raised out of the rental of his public house.

All the residue of his property he gives to his son Hannibal Rowe, whom he appoints sole executor of his last will and testament.
