Jackson, farmer, of Lamin, who committed suicide on the morning of the 29th ult., by hanging herself to the bedpost with her apron. Deceased had manifested a desponding state of mind for some weeks past, but on Wednesday morning, when her husband left her about 8 o'clock she appeared to be in a state of unusual cheerfulness. At 10 o'clock, however, she was found in the situation described, and quite dead. The jury returned a verdict that "deceased hung herself whilst in an unsound state of mind."
