In 1851, Mary Bath (32) of Camborne and husband Thos. Bath (32) of Stythians, farmer of 56 acres [employing] 1 man, were living in Gear, Camborne. Present were children (born in Stythians): Ellen (4), Mark* (3)
* There was no Mark. This would appear to be an error on the part of the Census taker. Rather, it was Charles, who does not appear with his family in any of the later Censuses. (See 1861 below; in 1871, Charles was back in Camborne and his sister Ellen was living with him).
In 1861, Mary Bath (41) of Camborne and husband Thos. Bath (41) of Stythians, farmer of 71 acres, were living in Gear, Camborne. Present were daughters (born in Camborne): Ellen (14), Eliza (5), Mary (1). [Son Charles T. Bath (12) of Stithians was at a boarding school in Tregony].
In 1871, Mary Bath (50) of Camborne and husband Thomas Bath (50) of Stithians, farmer of 120 acres, were living in Camborne. Present was daughter Eliza (15), scholar
