In 1851 William Vivian, aged 26, born in Camborne Cornwall, copper miner, grocer, and wife Salley Vivian, aged 33, born in Camborne, were living in College St., Camborne. With them was son Thomas D. (3 months) of Camborne.

In 1871 William Vivian, aged 45, born in Camborne, tin miner, and wife Sally Vivian, aged 52, born in Camborne, were living at 24 Trevenson Terrace, Camborne. CAMBORNE.

The funeral of the late Mr. William Vivian, of Trevenson-street, took place on the 23rd instant, and was attended by a large concourse of people. Forming the mournful procession were the members of his three classes, in connection with the Wesleyan Society, as well as a large number of the teachers and children belonging to the Sabbath Schools at Centenary chapel (where he was a member) and several local preachers. The deceased, who was in his 56th year and greatly respected, worked underground at Dolcoath till within the last few months ; and by his death the loss sustained has been great.
