In 1851 Stephen Bennetts, aged 29, born in Camborne, copper miner, and wife Jane Bennetts, aged 27, born in Camborne Cornwall, were living in Union St., Camborne. With them were daughters (born in Camborne) Mary Ann (5), Elizabeth (3), and Celia (1).
In 1861 Stephen Bennett, aged 32, born in Camborne, copper miner, and wife Jane Bennett, aged 37, born in Camborne, were living in Union St., Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) Mary Ann (15), dress maker, Elizabeth L. (13), tailoress, Cecelia (10), scholar, and Frances J. (6), scholar.

Stephen Bennetts of Tremar Coombe died aged 55 years (burial record). Stephen was closer to the age of 60. This is not surprising, given that he understated his age in the last two censuses.
