In 1851, Ann Hosking (38) of Camborne and husband Gilbert Hosking (40) of Camborne, miner, were living in Carwinnen, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): John (5), scholar, Gilbert (3), scholar, Ann (2), William (7m).

In 1861, Ann Hosking (48) of Camborne and husband Gilbert Hosking (50) of Camborne, copper miner, were living in Stennack, Camborne. Present were children: John (15), copper miner, Gilbert (13), stamps boy, Ann (11), stamps girl, William (9), stamps boy, Clarenda (8), Edward (4)

In 1871, Ann Hosking (57) of Camborne and husband Gilbert Hosking (62) of Camborne, miner, were living in Camborne. Present were children: John (25), tin miner, Ann (22), mine labourer at surface, Willm. (20), mine labourer at surface, Clarinda (18), mine labourer at surface, Edwd. (14), labourer in granite quarry

Named as the widow of Gilbert Hosking in the will of her uncle John Bawden (written 1879, proved 1884).

In 1881, Ann Hosking (66) of Camborne, widow, houskeeper, was living in Camborne. Present were children: John (35), tin miner, Cl[a]renda (28), tin mine labourer, Edward (24), stone mason
