A warm tribute to the Christian life and devotion to Pool Wesley Church of Mrs. Mary Hand, aged 83, of 3, Carn Brea-lane, Pool, was paid by the Rev. G. H. Simpson, at her funeral conducted in the Pool Church on Tuesday by the Rev. A. B. Franklin. Mr. Simpson, a former Illogan section minister, described her death as "a break in the precious links of the Church." Mrs. Hand had a long association with the church, and was a society class member. She is survived by two sons and two daughters....
