In October 1831 Edward Lanyon was present at the marriage of his sister Mary Anne Lanyon to Richard Lanyon in Camborne.
In 1840 Edward Lanyon was named in the will of his father-in-law William Reynolds of Trevenson, Esq. as the husband of William's daughter Charlotte.
In 1851 Edward Lanyon, aged 50, born in Camborne Cornwall, M.R.C.S. & L.A.C., and wife Caroline [sic], aged 45, born in Illogan Cornwall, were living in Market Place, Camborne. With them was daughter Frances (13) of Camborne.
