-------------------------
Letitia C Harris died aged 102. While this is the age provided in both the GROE death index and the Cornish Telegraph (see below), Letitia having been born in 1843 was actually closer to 105 when she died. Her age at each of the Censuses generally attests to this.
-------------------------
Miss Letitia Harris, who death occurred at the age of 102 at Barncoose Hospital, was the oldest inhabitant of Camborne-Redruth. She had lived at Ventonleague, Hayle, for many years and had been at Barncoose for some twenty-three years; until recently she had enjoyed good health. So far as is known, Miss Harris had no near relations. The funeral took place at Redruth cemetery last week.
