The funeral of the late William Curtis of Cross-street, Hayle, took place at Phillack on Wednesday afternoon, the rector the Rev. A. P. Hocken officiating. The mourners were Mrs. Curtis (widow), Mr. H. Paddy (father-in-law), Miss E. A. Uren (niece), Mr. and Mrs. Burgan (brother-in-law and sister), Mr. Percy Paddy (brother-in-law), Mr. S. Pearce, Misses L. and J. Couch, Mr. G. Sleeman, Mrs. Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Ellis, Mrs. Vanduren, Mrs. J. Paddy, sen., Mrs. J. Paddy, jun., Messrs. S. E. Crowle, E. Drew, J. and R. Luke, J. F. Stevens, and W. Watling. Mr. G. Bond was the undertaker.
