In her father's Will (written 1847) Martha King is appointed to manage his property on behalf of his son Edward Michell "he not having abilities to manage for himself". "And the deponent made oath that ... the said Martha King died in the month of December one thousand eight hundred and fifty, and that her brother, the said Edward Michell, the son, is lunatic and incapable of doing any legal act and that he is unmarried and a bachelor" &c...
