Marriage Notes:
A very pretty wedding took place at the Parish Church, Gwinear, on Saturday last, August 31st. The contracting parties were Mr. Edward John Hampton, of Gwinear Downs, and Miss Rosina Gladys Arthur, of Carloose, Fraddam. Rev. A. J. Perry officiated. The carriages were supplied by Camborne Posting Company. The bride, who was dressed in silk blouse, fawn-voile skirt, trimmed in creme, with crinoline hat to match, was given away by her father. The best man was Mr. Harry Arthur, brother of bride. The bridesmaids were Miss Theresa Mary Arthur (sister) and Miss Annie Jane James (cousin of bride). They were dressed in creme with blue ribbons, and carried beautiful bouquets of white dahlias and maidenhair fern. Mr. James (Reawla) and Mr. William Arthur were invited guests. After the ceremony the bridal pair went for a drive. The presents were numerous, useful and costly.
