  Research Notes:

In 1716 Jane Haskins was a beneficiary of her father's will, receiving a legacy of £800 and a tenement and lands called Greeale Myow and Little Greeale Myow.

In 1767 Mrs. Jane Hawkins was a beneficiary of the will of her late brother Christopher Hawkins of Trewinnard, Esq., receiving £50.

Abstract of the Will of Jane Hawkins of Tremough in the Parish of Mabe in the County of Cornwall, written 14 Jan 1767, proved 16 Oct 1776. 2

Gives £20 to the poor of the parish of St. Erth.

Gives rings worth 2 guineas each to Sir Richard Vyvyan Baronet and to Lady Vyvyan his present wife, giving a moiety of her personal estate to her niece the said Lady Vyvyan. After the death of her said niece, she gives the moiety to her niece Mary, only daughter of her nephew Thomas Hawkins of Trewithen, Esq., and after her to John Hawkins, youngest son of her nephew Thomas Hawkins.

Gives £50 each to her brother Christopher Hawkins, Esq. and his wife Mary.

All the rest of her personal estate she gives to her kinsman Mr. John Hawkins of Helston and Gilbert Hele Chilcott of St. Erth, appointing them co-executors of her last will, giving them £50 apiece.

In a codicil she gives to Gilbert Hele Chilcott an additional £150.

Gives £100 to her kinswoman Elizabeth Hele, daughter of her kinsman the Rev. Mr. Renatus Hele.

Gives £100 to Mrs. Rachel Hawkins.

Gives £100 to her kinswoman Mrs. Ann Trevithan, granddaughter of the Rev. Mr. George Hawkins, uncle of the testator.

Gives an annuity of £5 for life to her kinswoman Mrs. Bridget Chilcott, widow, and mother of her kinsman Gilbert Hele Chilcott.

Gives an annuity of £3 to her servant Mary Knapp.

Gives 10 guineas to her nephews Philip Hawkins, Christopher Hawkins, Thomas Hawkins and John Hawkins.

Gives a ring worth 2 guineas to her niece Jane Hawkins widow of her nephew Thomas Hawkins.
