Named as a beneficiary in the Will of his maternal grandmother Margaret Evans (written 1846).

In 1861 Evan Evans (28) of Pwllheli, unmarried, farmer of 269 acres employing 7 labourers & 1 boy, was living in Yoke house, Abererch. Present was brother William Evans (14) of Pwllheli, scholar.

In 1871 Evan Evans (38) of Pwllheli, unmarried, farmer of 180 acres employing 5 labourers & 2 boys, was living in Bodfean.

Administration of the personal estate of Evan Evans formerly of Tynycae in the Parish of Bodvean in the County of Carnarvon, farmer, but late of the town of Pwllheli in the said County, bachelor, who died 28 May 1879 at Pwllheli, was granted 19 June at Bangor to William Evans of 10 Salem-terrace Pwllheli, bank accountant, the brother and only next of kin. Personal estate under £200. ²
