In 1871 Edward Reed, aged 32, born in Wendron Cornwall, copper miner, and wife Jane P. Reed, aged 31, born in Illogan Cornwallo, were living in Illogan. With them were children: John (7) of Camborne, scholar, Edward (6) of Camborne, scholar, James B. (4) of Illogan, scholar, Jane P. (2) and Hugh P. (1), both born in Wendron

In 1881 Edward Reed, aged 41, born in Wendron, tin miner, and wife Jane P. Reed, aged 40, born in Illogan, were living in 39 Bolenowe, Camborne. Present were children: John (17), tin miner, Edward (16), tin miner, James B. (14), tin miner, Jane P. (12), scholar, Hugh P. (11), scholar, William T. (9), scholar, and Henry A. (8), scholar.
