In 1861 Grace Bryant, aged 31, born in Touwenath Cornwall, and husband George Bryant, aged 34, born in St. Ives Cornwall, shipwright, were living in Stoke Damerel, Devon. With them were sons (born in St. Ives) George (6), scholar, and Matthew (4), scholar.
In 1871 Grace Bryant, aged 41, born in Towednack, and husband George Bryant, aged 44, born in ship carpenter, were living in Bowling Green Terrace, St. Ives. With them were children George (16) of St. Ives, ship carpenter's apprentice, Matthew T. (14), ship carpenter's apprentice, Grace Q. (9), scholar, and Alice T. (1). Sister Alice Roach and her family were living nextdoor.
In 1881 Grace Bryant, aged 51, born in Towednack, and husband George Bryant, aged 54, born in St. Ives, shipwright, were living at 15 Bowling Green Terrace, St. Ives.
