With them were children (born in Towednack) Ann (3), Matthew (1), and mother Grace Trewhella (67) of Towednack, widow, annuitant.
In 1881 Matthew Trewhella, aged 44, born in Towednack, widower, farmer of 30 acres, and son Matthew (11), scholar, were with his mother Grace Trewhella (78) of Towednack, widow, house keeper, in Trenowin, Ludgvan, Cornwall.
