In 1861 Charles Henry [sic] Treglown, aged 25, born in Illogan Cornwall, engineer, was with his parents in Pool, Illogan.

In 1871 Charles H Treglown, aged 35, born in Illogan, civil engineer, and wife Elizabeth Margery Treglown, aged 28, born in Gwennap Cornwall, were living in Rose Cottage, Gwinear, Cornwall. With them were sons (born in Gwinear) John Blamey (6), scholar, Ernest George (6), scholar, Henry Temple (5), and Charles Buckley (3).

In December 1879 Charles Hockin Treglown of 2 St. John's-place Wretham-road Handsworth Birmingham in the county of Stafford, engineer, was co-executor of his father's will.

In 1881 Charles H. Treglown, aged 45, born in the parish of Illogan Cornwall, civil engineer, and wife Elizabeth M. Treglown, aged 38, born in the parish of Gwennap Cornwall, were living at no. 2 St. John's Place, Wretham Road, Handsworth, Staffordshire. Present were children Ada C (19) of Marazion, Ernest G. (16) of Gwinear, printer's artist, Henry T. (15) of Gwinear, factory clerk, Charles B. (13) of Gwinear, scholar, Jane (9) of Gwinear, scholar, Catherine H. (6) of Camborne, scholar, James M. (2) of Handsworth, and William E. (1) of Handsworth.

In 1891 Charles H. Treglown, aged 55, born in Pool Cornwall, civil engineer, and wife Elizabeth M. Treglown, aged 48, born in Cornwall, were living at 38 Wretham Rd., Handsworth. With them were children Ernest G. (26) of Roseworthy Cornwall, artist, Charles B. (23) of Roseworthy, consulting engineer, Jane (19) of Roseworthy, Catherine H. (16) of Camborne, scholar, James M. (12) of Handsworth, scholar, William E. (11) of Handsworth, scholar, and Robert C. (4) of Handsworth.

In 1901 Charles Hockin Treglown, aged 65, born in Illogan, engineer (mechanical), and wife Elizabeth Margery Treglown, aged 58, born in Gwennap, were living at 38 Wretham Rd., Handsworth. With them were children (single) Ernest George (36) of Gwinear, artist (painter), Jane (29), school teacher, Katherine Harriet (26), school teacher, James Michell (22) of Handsworth, manager factory, William Ewart (21) of Handsworth, clerk (commercial), and Robert Cecil (14) of Handsworth.

In March 1903 Charles Hockin Treglown, engineer, was granted Probate of the personal estate of his late sister Jane Hockin Pryce, widow.

In 1911 Charles Hockin Treglown, aged 75, born in Illogan, civil engineer (retired), and wife of 50 years Elizabeth Margery Treglown, aged 68, born in Gwennap (mother of 10 children, 2 deceased), were living at 3 Soho Avenue, Handsworth. With them were Janie Treglown (39) of Roseworthy, single, at home, Katherine Harriette Treglown (35) of Camborne, single, teacher, Robert Cecil (24) of Handsworth, engineer's fitter, and niece Ruth Treglown (6) of Handsworth.
