In the 1939 Register Hugh G McCall (b. 25 Oct 1864), blast furnace manager (retired), and wife Agnes F McCall (b. 21 Mar 1867), unpaid domestic duties, were living at The Pines, Biddulph, Staffordshire. At the same address were [their son] William McCall (b. 1 May 1894), poultry farmer, and his wife Frances L McCall (b. 12 Apr 1887).
