Diary of William Thomas:-
"18 July 1764 - This day before Mr Nehemiah Hopkins, Clerk, and a Justice of the Peace, of Morgan Daniel of Wrenston his wife, for abuseing him as he certifyeth. Mr Hopkins made him pid the charges and corrected him, and advised them to live at peace together, as he a few days past did to Thomas Howell of Dyffryn and Ann Andrew his wife, for he had brought her by a warrant before Justice, a thing uncommon in my memory" 1
