In July 1935 Mary Morgan, widow, was granted Probate of her late husband's personal effects.
In the 1939 Register Mary Morgan (b. 29 Mar 1888), widow, retired farmer, was living at Green Meadow, Drope, Saint George's, Glamorgan. At the same address were [children] Annie M Morgan (b. 3 Nov 1916*), unpaid domestic assistant, Gwyn D Morgan (b. 12 Oct 1917), carpet salesman (apprentice) and Mary E Morgan (b. 2 Jun 1922), hairdresser (apprenticed).
