In the 1939 Register Albert E Jones (b. 3 Dec 1896), despatch clerk at weldless steel tube works, and wife Mildred Jones (b. 13 Dec 1898), unpaid domestic duties, were living at 40 Coed-Saeson Crescent, Swansea, Glamorgan. At the same address were [daughter] Ailsa N Jones (b. 21 Jun 1930), at school, and [one record officially closed].
In November 1956 Albert Edward Jones, works cashier, and his brother Thomas Francis Jones, shop manager, were granted Probate of the personal effects of their late brother Victor Jones of Swansea.

A pretty wedding was solemnised at Alexandra-road Chapel, Swansea, on Tuesday morning, between Miss Mildred Sandy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Sandy, Torquay, Devon, and Mr. Albert Edward Jones, youngest son of the late Mr. E. F. Jones and of Mrs. Jones, Pantygwydr-road, Uplands, the Rev. J. H. Owen officiated. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. W. G. Sandy, Truro, was attended by Miss Hilda Jones.
