With them were children (born in Gwinear): Samuel (20), employed on land, Wilmot H. (9), scholar, Simon (7), scholar, Edward H. (5), scholar, Genifor V. (4), Eliza H. (1), Henry (2m), servant Mary Blewett (18) of Gwinear. [Son John was with his maternal grandparents].
In 1861 Wellmot Noell (50) of Gwinear and husband Samuel S. Noell (48) of Gwinear, farmer of 90 acres employing 1 man, were living in Farm House, Gwinear. With them were children (born in Gwinear): Samuel (30), employed on farm, Wellmot H. (20), employed in house & dairy, Simon (17), employed on land, Edward H. (14), employed on land, Genipher (13), Henry (10).
In 1871 Wilmot Noel (59) of Gwinear and husband Saml. Noel (55) of Gwinear, farmer of 56 acres employing 2 boys, were living in Deveral Farm, Gwinear. With them were children (born in Gwinear): Saml. (39), Wilmot (28), Simion (26), Jane (23), Henry (20).
In 1881 Wellmot Noell (65) [sic] of Gwinear and husband Samuel S. Noell (66) of Gwinear, copper & tin miner, were living in Deveral Cottage, Gwinear. Present were two servants.
In 1891 Welmot Noell (80) of Gwinear, widow, living on her means, was in Deveral, Gwinear. With her was lodger Martha Rodda (60) of Gwinear, single, living on her own means.
