  Research Notes:

In 1697 James Warren was a beneficiary of his father's will, to receive £1,000 when he turns twenty-one.

In 1704 James Warren was a residuary legatee of his mother's will.

In 1748 James Warren was co-executor and a beneficiary of the will of his brother Arnold Warren of East Greenwich, who left him £300.

In 1754 James Warren was a beneficiary of the will of his brother John Warren of Chalfont St. Peters, who left him £100.

Gives 10 guineas to Mrs. Mary Tufton to buy her a ring.

Gives 20 guineas to his godson Mr. James Rivet of Darby.

Gives £20 to the poor of Stapleford in the county of Nottingham.

Gives £100 to his nephew Borlase Warren, Esqr, giving £50 each to Borlase's brother and sister.

Gives £20 to Hannah Needham of Darby. In case she is dead, he gives the same to her children, share and share alike.

Gives £50 to Mrs. Wilkinson of Bramcote in co. Notts.

Gives 30 guineas to Mrs. Petre of King Street Bloomsbury.

Gives £50 each to Mr. John and Mr. Thomas Westbrook of Orpington near St. Mary Cray in Kent.

Gives 30 guineas each to Mrs. Prudence Low, Mrs. Jane Low and Mrs. Dorey? Low of the City of York.

Gives 10 guineas to Mrs. Tempest of the City of York.

Gives 30 guineas to Mr. Peter Castlefrank of Pall Mall.

Gives £20 and all of his clothes to his servant Richard Bonney.

Gives £20 to his servant Martha Corfield.

Gives £10 to his postillion John Dormer.

Gives an annuity of 4 guineas for life to his late servant James Harrington.

Gives to Mr. Buckle Hawes of Great Marlow his watch and other items, along with 5 guineas to pay to William Carter the poor man who lives at the Fearn Gate.

Gives £20 to William Carter of Buckmoor (Bockmer) in the parish of Medmenham.

Gives £10 to Thomas Baker, labourer at Little Marlow.

Gives £20 to Thomas Jackson of Stapleford in co. Notts, who had been postillion to his sister Warren.

Gives £20 to Joseph Jackson, steward of Stapleford.

Gives to his nephew Mr. James Warren the interest of £1,000 for life, but the interest only, for none of his money will go to support Osborn of Medmenham.

Gives 5 guineas to Mr. William Harves of Great Marlow to buy him a ring.

Gives 5 guineas to John Jackson, Esqr.

All the rest of his effects he gives to his nieces Mrs. Elizabeth and Mrs. Frances Warren, daughters of the late Borlase Warren, Esqr of Stapleford and Member of Parliament, appointing them co-executrices of his last will and testament.
