In 1697 John Warren was a beneficiary of his father's will, to receive £1,000 when he turns twenty-one.

In 1700 John Warren was named as a residuary legatee of his mother's will.

In 1748 John Warren was a beneficiary of the will of his brother Arnold Warren of East Greenwich, who left him £300.

Abstract of the Will of John Warren of Gore Land in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peters in the County of Bucks, Esquire, one of the Sons of Arthur Warren sometime of Stapleford in co. Notts, Esquire, deceased, written 22 Feb 1754, proved 20 Jun 1754. 3

Names Deliverance Smith as one of the executors of his will.

Gives £100 to his brother James Warren.

Gives $50 each to Mrs. Eleanor Curzon and Mrs. Teresa Petre, along with 5 guineas each to buy them a toothpick case.

Gives 5 guineas each to Mrs. Mary and Margaret Tufton and Mr. Wilbraham Tufton, the aunts and uncle of the present Earl of Thanet, and to Samuel Hickman of Bond Street London, to buy them each a toothpick case.

Gives £50 to John Maize of Grays Inn London, Esquire.

Gives to Mrs. Margaret Times, previously servant to his kinswoman Mrs. Pound, his gold watch.

Gives £200 to the said Deliverance Smith, along with all his brewing utensils.

Gives 10 guineas each to his friend William Basil Esquire and Frances his wife, to buy them each a ring. Gives to Mrs. Basil his little strongbox which was of late of the Countess of Ballamounts.

Gives 10 guineas to Miss Lea, whose given name he thinks is Sarah, only unmarried sister of the Right Honourable Lord Dudley, to whom he also gives 10 guineas, to buy them each a ring.

Gives £100 to Frances Rosell, daughter of Jarvis Rosell late of Bicksworth in co. Derby, Esquire, deceased.

Gives 20 guineas to William Hawes of Great Marlow in co. Bucks, draper, to buy him a ring.

Gives £50 each to Samuel and Penelope Mansell, children of Walter Mansell.

Gives £20 to John Rose Senr, Wood Bailiff to John Borlase Warren of Little Marlow, Esquire.

Gives £20 to John Rose Junr, gardener to the said John Borlase Warren.

Gives 20 guineas to Mrs. Mary Gritton of Derby, milliner, to buy her a ring.

Gives £20 to William Price son of Edward Price of Coven' in co. Stafford, weaver, to afford him an apprenticeship with a barber surgeon (chirurgeon). Once he as completed his apprenticeship he gives him £100 to set up business.

Gives 20 guineas to James Gostling, Esquire, Deputy Cashier of the South Sea Company.

Gives 20 guineas to Mr. Craft of Brerewood in co. Stafford, malster.

Gives £20 each to his servants who have been in his service for a year or less, and £40 each to his servants who have served longer.

Divides his clothing among his servants.

Gives to Ann Warren otherwise Fox, natural daughter of his nephew John Borlase Warren, Esquire, his tenement with gardens, orchards &c. called Gore Land in the parish of Chalfont St. Peters, where the testator now lives. Gives to the said Ann Warren otherwise Fox and her lawful heirs, all other of his estate in Chalfont St. Peters and Chalfont St. Giles, in co. Bucks. If Ann dies without lawful issue, or marries Freeman Gage, one of the sons of Reverend Mr. Gage of Little Marlow, then said bequest is made void, and he bequeaths the same to the said Deliverance Smith of Chelsea in co. Middlesex, gardener, and to the said Miss Lea.

Gives to Deliverance Smith and Miss Lea his tenement, farm lands and hereditaments in Stoke Mandeville in co. Bucks, along the rest of his goods, chattels and personal estate, appointing them co-executors of his will.
