In 1638 Peter Dormer and his wife Anne were named in the will of Peter's father in which he confirmed a grant of £50 to be paid yearly out of his manor of Shipton Lee.
In 1678 Peter Dormer is named in the will of his brother John Dormer of Lee Grange as having sold to John an annuity of £50 out of two closes of pasture in Shipdon Lee, and which John gives to his grandson, Sir William Dormer.
In January 1694/5 Doctor Peter Dormer was named as deceased in the will of his brother Fleetwood Dormer of Arle Court, Knt.
