The family emigrated to New England in 1634, where Elizabeth's husband, Richard Bellingham, served as Deputy Governor.
Writing her will in October 1639, Mary Standen of Arborfield in co. Berks, widow, gave 100 marks to her 'deere sister's sonne' Samuel Bellingham.
In 1649 Elizabeth's brother, Sir John Backhouse, named as a beneficiary her son Samuell Bellingham, giving him an annuity of £100.
Marriage Information:
Elizabeth married Richard Bellingham, son of William Bellingham and Frances Amscott, about 1622. (Richard Bellingham was born about 1592 and died on 7 Dec 1672 in Boston, Massachusetts.)
