In the name of god amen in the year of our lord god 1557 the xxvi daie of aprill I mathew waite make my last will in the manner followinge
first I bequeathe my soule to almightie god and to our ladie St Marie and to all the hollie companie of Heaven and my bodie to bee buriede in the churche yarde of St Marie in Tetforthe
