At the time of the 1891 England Census Adeline C. H Newton, aged 40, born in Madras East Indies, and husband William D. O. H Newton, aged 59, J.P., D.L., retired from Army, were living at 7 Russell Street, Walcot Somerset. With them was daughter Albrida J. Hay (11) of E. Lothian Scotland.
At the time of the 1891 England Census Adeline H. Newton, aged 49, born in Scotland*, and husband William H. Newton, aged 59 [sic], born in Madras India*, were living at 3 Marlborough Bdg, Bath Somerset.
