In 1891 Fanny Mountain (28) of Covenham and husband Thomas Mountain (32) of Alvingham, farmer, were living in South Lane, Utterby. Present were children (born in Covenham): Elsie (8), Nora (6), Guy (4), Madge (3).
In 1911 Fanny Mountain (47) of Covenham, mother of 8 children 3 deceased, and husband of 28 years Thomas Mountain (52) of Alvingham, farmer, were living in The Grange, Utterby, Lincs. With them were children (born in Covenham): Guy (24), farmer's son assisting on farm, Madge (23), Tom (19), in corn merchant's office.
In the 1939 Register Fanny Mountain (b. 6 Apr 1862), widowed, unpaid domestic duties, was with her son Tom & his wife Isabella in Beesby Mount Barton Street, Grimsby R.D., Lincolnshire. Her eldest daughter Elsie Mountain, incapacitated, was also there.
