"DEATH OF MR. WILLIAM ROSS.
Mr. Wm. Ross, an old and respected resident of the district, passed away on Tuesday morning, after a short illness, from pneumonia, supervening on an attack of influenza. The deceased, who was in his sixtieth year, was born at Gunningbland, and had been a life-long resident of the district, the latter portion being spent as a farmer at No Mistake and (for the last eight or nine years) at Wongalea. The late Mr. Ross is survived by a widow, two sons and three daughters, the sons being Mr. Thomas D. Ross (Manning River) and Mr. L. Ross (Wongalea) and the daughters Mrs. J. Churchill (Sydney), Mrs. C. Dunford (Bogan Gate) and Miss Jean Ross (Wongalea). The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, to the Church of England cemetery, and was largely attended, the Rev. Arthur Weston officiating at the grave. The deepest sympathy. in which we join, is extended to the bereaved family and relatives, in the great loss they have sustained." 5

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Ross of Parkes in the State of New South Wales Farmer. I give, devise and bequeath all my real and personal property of whatsoever kind and wheresoever situate to my wife Louisa Ross and I appoint her sole Executrix of this my Will.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this second day of April one thousand nine hundred and eighteen. William Ross.

11th February 1925. On this date Probate of the last Will of the above-named deceased was granted to Louisa Ross of Parkes, Widow, the Executrix named in the said Will.
